Cervix shortening

My cervix was measuring 4.32cm at my 12 weeks scan and at my 20 week scan it was measuring 4.71cm and now after going into preterm labor 5 days ago its 2.3cm
Im just wondering if i should be worried about it shortening so much so quickly

Thanks ladies

I have just told my midwife my results and she said the don't get too worried until it is 1cm but in saying that mine has shortened so much so quickly she said she will keep an eye on it and she is not suprised from all the contractions i have had

I would definately push for something just to be on the safe side. You want to be able to keep that baby cooking for as long as possible.

I agree...
I had preterm labor with with last pregnancy it was scary.
All my boys have been born at around 36 weeks so im praying she is the same as her brothers. Im just freaking out as i also have low platelets count and low iron as well just to top everything off
