Sounds exactly the same as me Hun! I definitely have the odd quiet day, maybe once a week or so. Today being one of them. I just lay down, roll from side to side or poke my belly a bit til she moves to where I can feel her. If u feel movement, even if it's not strong, I'm sure your bub is fine.

Counting movements isn't advised until 24 weeks onwards, but regardless of the strength of movement, ANY movement is fine.

Just wait until you're 36 weeks plus....that elbow bashing the bladder or foot wedged under your rib will be a constant reminder that your little girl is okay!!!

Try not to worry as long as you are still feeling SOMETHING.

I'm 24 weeks, and have never had really "strong" movement. I feel LO moving a couple times a day (pretty much once or twice in the morning, afternoon, and evening...) but it's not regular and I definitely have days where I only feel him once or twice.

I have an anterior placenta which might by why movement isn't felt as strong or regular. Maybe you have something similar? All my mw appointments have been fine and hb is strong, so I'm not worried I'm sure your LO is fine!

Edited: I also wanted to add that DH still hasn't been able to feel LO from the outside (I've only felt it a couple times) so most of the movements in any case aren't strong enough to be felt externally yet! Thought that might help...

its normal at this stage baby still has a lot of room in there. as long as your always feeling them each day. If you dont then get checked. Also if your ever really worried then it never hurts to get checked out> whats normal for one may not be normal for another. I think since 22 weeks i have always felt at least 10 so i have been using that as my guide. some days it feels like she dont stop all day and then other days i have to still and litterally wait for them. Sometimes baths and cold drinks and mars bars make her go crazy and other days nothing does. Some days i bairly feel wiggles low down and other times she is booting me. i think from 26-28 weeks depending on midwife is when we are meant to kick count. At this point your baby should have some sort of pattern. So you may get a time of day where they are really active. but even then they will have more active days and less active days. Although your advised to ring for advise when this happens. Its really hard not to get stressed by movements. i think there wonderful but so so scary. They do say movements are how we and the doctors no that are babys are ok. So if your ever worried then always ring your midwife or the labour ward. dont ever worry about that, my midwife said they would rather see you for 100 false alarms than miss the time when they can help us. You may find as you go on that the type of movements change. the room your baby has will be getting smaller as they grow , however the frequency shouldnt get less, even close to labour. I may of gone off point a little but this is all things i didnt no with my 1st. i hope its helpful.

it's normal! some days are just more active than others, plus at this stage their positions make a big difference in how much you'll feel. x

Yes I'm 24 weeks now and do get the quieter days, I take it they are resting up as so much growing going on at the moment. I usually feel movement when I am relaxed sat or layed never much feel anything if I'm moving or stood up.
