I had my 16 week appointment and she measured it. She felt the top right at my belly button and measured down. I layed in bed last night trying to figure out how she knew where it was because I don't feel anything.
That's okay I tried to look it up and really didn't get anywhere. My bump is visibly getting bigger, but if I measure from my pelvic bone to the top of my belly button, it is only 18 cm and I was 20 cm at my 20 week appointment. So, I'm guessing my fundus must be higher now.
Ok, this is going to sound really weird, but they only way I can find mine is after an orgasm. Since the uterus contracts after one, it's much easier to find the hardness at the top. I measure myself afterwards and always come up with what the doctors do! Good luck!
The fundus is the top of your uterus. I don't know if you can find it at 14 weeks. LOL I'm almost 22 weeks and I still am not sure how to feel mine. I've been trying the different techniques and it all just feels hard to me. So, I can't really tell.
