Hey everyone, I was just wondering if anyone was experiencing any shooting pains?
This last week I have been getting them down my left side from just under my boob down to my hip. They only last a second or two, but it seems to be happening everyday now. Mostly when I'm standing up, but it was happening when I was lying down the other night.
Can anyone shed any light on this? I never had any pains like this when PG with DS.
Could be round ligament pain? It is quite sharp and painful, and only lasts a few seconds or minutes. You get it when you move from one position, and i do tend to get it at night, particularly if i lie on my side!
Probably just stretching pains I was getting sharp shooting pians near my uterus and now there by my belly button, I asked my midwife about it she said just things stretching and growing I hate em, not a good feeling!
It could be sciatica. I got a case of this at about 13 weeks, and it lasted 4 days. And again I got it last week, but it only lasted 2 days.
I would feel that pain when trying to get up from a sitting or lying position that I had been in for a while. It actually really scared me last week, because I woke up in the middle of the night having to go to the washroom, and I couldnt get up! those sharp pains would run down from the left side of my hip, and I had to just breathe through it, and it took me about 5 mins to get out of bed. It was hard to walk as I walked to the washroom too, but the next morning I was fine.
Maybe read up on sciatica, this could be what you are experiencing!
