waking up in pain

Been waking up in pain lately and not sure why? I try to only sleep on my sides but every now and then I end up on my back. I have MANY pillows and cushions in bed.

Last night I woke up (on back) and had EXTREME back pain! This is about the second time. Just on one side and by my ribs it felt a little better when I layed back on my side but took awhile. I dont feel it now at all since im up. And I never have hip pain till I lay down at night and laying on my sides hurt me, think thats why I end up on my back even though before pregnancy I was a side sleeper and found it hard to sleep on back.

Also the other night I woke up on my back and felt like I couldnt move at all! Then when I did my whole back hurt! Just wondering if anyone else experiences some weird things when sleeping?! Seems everything goes on when im sleeping! I never get heartburn till I go to bed, leg cramps or my arms "falling" asleep and being tingly!

hmm not sure? I havent been "suffering" from gas as much as I did in the beginning! Ill make sure to ask my doctor when I go in next but not thinking its too bad to call him. IDK! Every worry or complaint I have doctor always says "this is normal, most pregnant women have this" so then I feel silly!

I was in awful pain last night. I am beginning to suspect that I have SPD, however, I find that if I get up and empty my bladder (or bowels) then I feel a bit better. Like Pickle said, sometimes trapped wind also hurts but I have to wiggle around/burp to release it.

My OH is working away but the other week when he was home and I was in pain it hurt to move. I am not even big (most people don't realise I preg) but I had to ask him to roll me over in bed so that I could get up.

I called him this morning and told him that I really could have done with him rolling me over last night - he found this very amusing.

Hope you feel better soon, I know it is horrible x
