Am i too big?

Ok, so ive just gone on 19 weeks pregnant and measured around my belly and it came to 31inches (80cm) going around from my belly button.
I was a quite skinny girl before i got pregnant and now my belly is like HUGE.. it was even really big at 17 weeks.. Am i too big for 19 weeks? or is this normal?
My mum said she thinks its coz im having a large baby.. but the baby is measuring in at a normal size.. So, is anyone else really big at 19 weeks?

x

out of curiosity, how come you measured around your belly instead of your fundus height the way your midwife will? xx

I jumped from a 28 inch waist to 33-34 inch waist by 18 weeks, everyone kept asking me if I was having twins and had me worried that I was abnormally big. BUT my waist didn't grow out (it grew, just not out) at all for a few more weeks and now baby girl is measuring to the day so I'm right on track, and I am only 37 inches now. So don't worry, all that stretching and expanding to accommodate baby could very well even out soon. The baby is so small right now that your growing belly are mostly due to a swelling uterus, fluids, blood, etc. to accommodate him/her later on.
