You've definately done the right thing hun - you've put your baby first. It must be hard not to feel guilt at not being there but just think to when you're holding your beautiful little girl - I'm pretty certain he'd be looking at you both with a smile agreeing focussing on her was the best choice you could have made.

Thinking of you xx

Just spoke to mum. She said dad had an open casket,so you could see him before being cremated. It was the last chance I had to see my dad and give him a kiss and a cuddle and I missed it.

he wouldn't have wanted you to risk travelling all that way honey he knows how much you love him, don't be hard on yourself you're doing the right thing.

could you maybe do your own little thing for him, light a candle and say what you want to say.

so sorry you're going though this xxxx

I echo what everyone else has said, your dad will know how much you love him and no amount of miles between you will change that. Your baby comes first which you know and your dad knows. Your baby will have thir own special guardian angel. Thinking of you
