How much money did you (or will you) spend on maternity clothes?
Although I can probably hold off for a few more weeks, I've started shopping around for maternity clothes. I can still fit into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes, but I don't want to stretch them out! I should confess that I'm kinda, sorta, maybe a bit of a shopaholic. I don't want to go overboard since I won't be wearing these clothes for very long!
So, I was wondering...how much money did you (or will you) spend on maternity clothes?
I got a few bits off ebay bnwt really cheap - jeans and linen trousers, I have got all of the stuff out of next that I like except what I got from ebay, most of the things I like from New Look. I won't pay the prices of certain other brands. I'd rather have more variety and as I've been in maternity since 12 weeks I have had a few new bits recently. I am about to get a maxi dress but don't want to pay more than £30.
I don't believe it when people say you don't need as much as your normal wardrobe.
I'm such a cheapo, I keep finding stuff on clearance and at consignment stores - got some great brand-name dresses for $10 (U.S.) each! I think total I've spent maybe $150? And I'll probably spend a fair amount on nursing tanks, etc. for 3rd tri and when baby is born
Next to nothing. I can still fit in most of my pre preg clothes, and I find maternity clothes to be ridiculously overpriced, so I'll just be buying loose fitting clothes in larger sizes. Only maternity bits I've bought are a couple of bras and a pair of tights!
I don't plan on spending or getting that much. Have other things need to spend the money on. Have one pair of pants already. Will probably get 2 more, and a few tops. I do laundry every few days anyway so not that big of a deal.
as little as possible as they are going to be worn 4 such a short time
actually got some hand me down maternity dresses
have bought 3 trousers i dont like maternity tops so just bought some in larger sizes
