Hi Girls! Ive noticed this a couple of times in the past week or so. Sometimes Im laying down, and I touch my lower stomach and I feel it really tight! usually only on one side...It goes away after a couple of minutes, but its just really strange...I dont know if its gas?Has anyone experienced this? I have not idea what it could be?
Last night it happened when I would lay on my back mostly--- I dont know trapped air? braxton hicks or baby?
I started getting them at around 17 weeks or so, ended up going to the emergency doctors as I was having lots!
They're not painful, but are uncomfortable. I was told I probably had an irritable uterus but the make sure I drank plenty and dehydration can cause them/make them more pronounced and to rest up, lay on my side.
Apparently you start having them at 6weeks pregnant, but most ladies don't notice them until further on. If they are every now and then and painless, I wouldn't worry too much
Sounds like braxton hicks. With my first I had them from 16 weeks and with this one from 14 weeks. They aren't bad. Very normal actually. Some women get them early, some get them late and some dont get any at all.
I had this around 16 weeks, for about a week. The dr said it wasn't braxton hicks, because then the whole uterus would feel that way, not just one side. She said that it was probably just my uterus growing.
