Little man has an identity :)

Hey girls... well after ages of trying to sort a name out for our little man we have finally found the perfect one. I always loved this name but hubby isnt all too keen. The only one we stuck to was Harry but it just didnt feel right to me, i wouldnt call him harry it just didnt 'feel' right, like i wasnt carrying a Harry. I decided last week that he was no longer being called Harry and my hubby agreed i could have... wait for it......

Alfie David Maclennan

My mam loves the name, hubby said he will get used to it cause he was the same with our daughters name and he now loves it, his dad hates the name and my brother isnt too keen either but i dont give a monkeys bum! haha

I FEEL like i am carrying Alfie, i call him Alfie and its made me even more excited to put a name to him and feel like he has his own identity now, it just feels sooo right! everyone else can just go swivvel hahaa!

xxxxxx

I think there is something to it "feeling right"- we batted around names for months... and kept thinking of girl names, as we both thought we'd have a girl- haha. But when we found out for sure- nothing really fit right. Even names we LOVED! Then I saw her name and it grew on me and I could see myself calling her by that name... and that was it! After months of thinking- it hit us both the same day and it was done. lol.

So go with your gut hun! Just lovely And your right- who cares what anyone else thinks... it's nice to have people love the name, but it will grow on them and YOUR the ones that have to love it!

Congratulations on finding a name for your sweet baby boy! I know how difficult it can be to decide on something. Even though I'm only 15 weeks we've been trying to figure out a boys name and girls name so that we will have it ready for when we go to our gender ultrasound in 28 days! We had a list of 15 girls names and have narrowed it to the final one....but we can't think of one single boys name yet.

Anyway, I love the name you picked. All of the names go so well together.
