Biofreeze - safe in pregnancy?

i have pulled a muscle in my shoulder and it's very very sore. just taking paracetamol and using hot water bottle but it's not really doing any good. waiting on an appointment with a physio but have heard biofreeze is really good. just wondering has anyone used it when pregnant? also can i take co-codamol? haven't slept the last 2 nights with the pain.

thanks.

I suffer with back pain and asked my MW if I could use deep freeze or deep heat. She looked it up and said that it hasnt been tested in pregnancy so advised me not to use it? I would ask your MW or GP to be safe. As for co-codamol not sure either my MW said to me paracetamol only. Sorry not much use..

Oops! I smeared loads around my neck this morning after waking up with a cricked neck!

Have got a regular appointment with my osteopath tomorrow so will let you know what he says about using Biofreeze.

yesterday i took on 15/500 i still feel as if i am stoned..... it really effects you so much more when preggy so please use with care
