So the title says it all I was playing around with my hubby and got an elbow in my upper stomach above the belly button I am 12 weeks and from what ive read the baby doesnt move up till later in like a a week or so . It wasnt really hard but just caught me off gaurd my hubby feels horrible and like i told him we just need to be more carful we are still getting used to a baby in there. So should I call the doctor in the morning or go to er im sure everything is ok just wanna make sure.
If you haven't had and pain or spotting/bleeding you are probably ok, your LO is well protected inside you. But if you are still worried call your midwife to get some reassurance and put your mind at rest x
I'm sure you're fine. My three year old jumped on me at 12 weeks with twins and he got me really good in the stomach with his knee. The dic on call assured me that they are super well protected by the pelvis until 20 weeks (16 weeks with twins).
I had something similar yesterday when my daughter accidentally kicked me in the stomach below my belly button just where baby lays. Thankfully all is well I was told by mw that baby is well protected in there and for someone like you where the uterus is still mostly within the pelvic area you should be ok especially if was above the belly button.x
