incontinence !!!!!

hey all, first off sorry if TMI, but i believe that anything goes here!

Ive always had weak bladder muscles, but over the last few weeks its been terrible.
Every time i cough, sneeze, blow my nose, move quick, laugh etc...i'm wetting myself!!

Ive resorted to wearing "nappies" (sanitary pads) just to get me though the day, although today ive had a cold and been sneezing every 20 second and now on my 3rd pair of pants/trousers/nappy

Help!!!!???!!!

Any one else finding this??? Im 17 weeks now, and weeing loads, but this is in between needing the loo!!!!

Please help!!!

Pelvic floor exercises! Tighten the muscles you use to stop yourself weeing for 10 seconds at a time, and do this in cycles of 10 sessions. Repeat throughout the day and you'll hopefully notice a difference.

I did notice this a bit but have started to get on top of it quickly before it really starts to bug me!! I thought I was leaking fluid at one point but when I sneezed getting into the shower a bit of wee shot out and I couldn't stop it!!!!

This stuff helps -

Emptying my bladder regularly - every 2-3hrs

Rocking back and forth when peeing and waiting a few mins to make sure I'm empty and any leaks/drips are finished!!

If I need to cough/sneeze I squeeeeeeezeeeee those muscles as hard as I can and push my legs together

Also drink lots of water, keep your system flushed and your bladder emptying and cleaning itself regularly!

Pelvi floor/kegel exercises actually do make difference tho - I''ve been doing them loads for a couple of weeks, now doing them constantly whenever I'm sitting down - at least I'll have bloody strong muscles in labour haha. U need to make sure you're squeezing the right muscles tho - it's not your bum or inner thigh muscles, it's the little muscles inside that you would squeeze mid pee to make it stop - at first it won't stop much but if you can get the muscles stronger you should be able to stop mid-flow!!!

Also, have you tried wearing Tena Lady pads or similar?? They're more absorbent for the watery pee than towels which are for thicker blood (sorry that's yuck lol) and keep the water locked in until you can change it!

If all else fails, carry spare pants and wear dark trousers everywhere!!
xx
