Baby is kicking me just below my ribs-should this be happening at 25+3 weeks?!

My baby seems to be able to kick me really high up, say a good 3/4 inches above my belly button.
At the same time I can feel another part of baby very low and at the sides-feels like I have a few babies in there sometimes!

Should this be happening already?

I don't recall this with my dd, but that was a few years ago so could be my memory!
xx

Crafty, LO! And limber!

Sure, baby can and will do whatever baby can and will. My first actually broke my ribs by 30 weeks. This should not terrify you though -- I was just over-training my abs with too much exercise and baby decided if my muscles weren't going to give him room, he was gonna make it!

When I think about it, my dd never once kicked me in the ribs...hoping baby isn't huge!!

That must have been one strong baby to break your ribs-ouch. Poor you!

He was strong, yep! And still is! Again, it was really my stupid fault for trying to cling to my waistline and doing too many ab exercises. At 9 months pregnant, my waist was only 35 inches. One has to make room for nature to take it's course. Happy to say this time, I'm 5 months and my waistline is disappearing nicely. And no rib pain...yet!

I actually got a full on ribcage kick the other day. It was the horrible!

But, I he kicks in two places at the same time. One high, one low, as if he is stretching. Its strange, but wonderful!

Completely normal and prob a lot worse to come. My LO keeps wedgeing his foot under my rib and gets so painful. But the worst is when he lays across the bottom of my bump tranverse (longways, side to side) and my bumpgoes an unsual shape but painful. The thing is every pregnancy is different, but I had the rib thing with DS and this time with next DS lol

My lil beauty has been kickin me so hard in the ribs I actualy wince and have been on the verge of tears a few times. I honestly think she may hav broken one of my ribs on my left side as it hurts to touch and a slight movement feels like agony. Can only lie on my left side if I have a cushion under my hip, ribs and neck. Getin a good nights sleep is bloody hard work. Lol xxx

Mine does that too! Two places at once. Either top and bottom at the same time or both sides at the same time. It does feel strange but very exciting to feel that big movement in there from such a wee thing
