Just finished work till LO is here now due to stress(not due till 10th December):\

For the past two weeks I've been on sick due to cervicitis (inflamed and irritated cervix) I was bleed and the pressure on my cervix doesn't help..

I went into work today and said I was worried about bleeding again (I work in a Private Day Nursery, so really active) and I mentioned what the midwife said that the more I'm active the more the bleeding will happen, but Peanut is all okay .
So after talking to my boss and manager we all agreed that for the rest of this month I'd take as holiday and then my Maternity Pay will start at the end of September

I know I'm not till 10th December but I'm hoping to get induced around 24th November; due to diabetes.

I just feel at the moment peanuts health and mine is more important at the end of the day and I know we can cancel a few things e.g. few Sky packages and the internet if money is tight near the end when LO is here..

I spoke to OH who works 12 hour days and is on a good wage but works hard days :\ so I feel really bad about finishing work now and doing nothing till LO is here..

Sorry to hear that. Does that mean you'll have to go back to work earlier than you planned?

well just been thinking the 90% of my wage for Mat Leave for the weeks before it goes to whatever the rate it at the moment, I'll just take a chunk out of that money and keep it in the house to use at the end of my Mat Leave..
It'll just be at the end of my Mat Leave time were we'll struggle a little but hopefully we'll be okay and I can push to the extra few months off before going back to work and start paying Childcare fees
Fingerscrossed that we'll be okay.. OH just phoned on his dinner and after me explaining it he seems a lot more cool with the idea and just the rent to worry about with my wage/SMP covering it just about He pays for the rest of the bills x
