New to second trimester and diahrreia question( sorry tmi)
I am so happy to be moving to the second trimester. And finally feeling more enjoyment towards pregnancy . I am 37 years old and this is my first pregnancy .
I am so sorry that I have to ask about diahrreia while introducing myself. Started on Sunday with lots of gas, Monday the diahrreia started, Tuesday it looked like it was getting better ( just one bowel movement although it still looked diahrreia). Yesterday stll having ( not a lot of bowel movement but still not looking great) but the gas is back and man it smells bad( sorry!)!! I am thinking about calling my doctor today and see if it is normal or if I got something. I worry that I am not leaving a lot of nutrition to the baby. I actually miss the constipation.
Is this normal?
Hi - totally normal! I was the same at the end of 1st tri and first few weeks of 2nd... I used to go from diahrreia to not being able to go at all in the space of a few days and it just went round and round in a very annoying cycle! Can't remember exactly when but it sorted itself out a good few weeks ago. x
I am so happy to hear that. I can feel my stomach making all this gas noises and all of a sudden I need to leave the room because I need to pass some horrible stinking gas!!!. Maybe is hormones.
Thanks for the reply.
