Anyone else here with a cervical cerclage?

Hey ladies,

I was wondering whether there are any of you here that had to have a cerclage due to possible/diagnosed cervical incompetence?

I went for a HSG one find day, and the dye kept leaking out as soon as it was inserted. That cycle I fell pregnant by IUI, and on week 12 the doctor measured a small opening on my cervix. He immediately recommended a cerclage and so I went in the clinic and had one done on week 13.

Are there any other ladies here that underwent/ will undergo the procedure? Possible bump buddies maybe?

A lot of us have one.... there is a thread under gestational complications, Incompetent Cervix - stitch/cerclage - threatened labour. Its a life saver. I had it put in at 12+6w, I'm 20 weeks now and all seem to be going well. The women on that thread can answer all of your questions. Good luck hope to see you on that thread.
