Oh and also,

Not taken any prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy

Sat in a jacuzzi for an hour with my friend. Didn't know they aren't recommended!

I get out of doing anything I don't want to do by using the pregnancy card!!!!

I have sworn at people on the phone coz they annoyed me, and havent felt guilty about it......the hormones made me do it!!

since being pregnant
ive not took prenatal vitamins (doc said i didnt need them, then midwife flipped)
had a runny egg, but it was in a cafe so i felt bad to send it back
use cravings as an excuse to buy stuff in the house my OH normally hates (i.e pickles, marmalade and more crisps)
sleep on my back

1 - I have not taken any vitamins - midwife & doctor said theres no need, your body produces what you need.
2 - Been rubbish with housework, then when my mum visited and said i looked pale and offered to do everything including a HUGE pile or ironing i let her, then told DH i did it myself!
3 - Eaten junk food and not felt guilty!
4 - Not been to the gym and dropped swimming down to once a week!
5 - Eaten prawns/subways/poached eggs.
6 - Found a new love for diet coke.

God i think i could still go on!!

I like this one!

- I've forgotten to take my prenatal vitamins more than once. (and fibbed when my OH asked if I took them because I honestly couldn't remember... sorta)

- Had a half cup of coffee a few days in a row.

- Taken hot showers on occasion.

- Let my OH give me a back rub. (who in their right mind would turn that down?)

- Gotten out of cooking or cleaning the house or being just plain lazy all day by playing up the pregnant and tired or sick card. Hey, my OH can be lazy sometimes but for some reason I feel the need to have an excuse so I don't feel that guilty!

That's all I can think of for now, but I'm sure there's more I'm missing.

what a brilliant thread!!

I havent taken any extra vitamins
I enjoy a hot bubble bath every night before bed - it relaxes the muscles which minimises leg cramps in bed
Used "im so tired" as an excuse to leave people's houses when im bored
I have ham/chicken/pork sandwiches from the deli counter on a daily basis
Cry on a regular basis for no reason and blame it on the hormones
Eat lots of sweet things and dont feel guilty
Rarely lift anything "cos of my bad back"

I could continue but it really does make me feel guilty

You all make me feel better, thank you! I've not used 'I'm so tired' as an excuse to leave someplace I'm bored with, but I'm going to now! Brilliance.

Let's see, what else have I done?

I'm still addicted to Diet Coke. I'm down to only 1-2 a day, but I'm still drinking them.
I've used "food aversions" as an excuse to avoid something that I just don't like to eat.
I *might* have used tears as a weapon a time or two, when I really wasn't quite as upset as I was making out to be.

I'm sure I have more to add... I just have to see what bad stuff I do today! (I'm OMW to Burger King for breakfast... "cravings" you know. *giggle*)

I've not been eating enough fruit and veg, cos hey the vitamins will do the work right?

Eaten way too many chicken nuggets - damn cravings!

Eaten feta cheese, goats cheese and deli meats because I forgot about the rules.

Used swollen ankles as an excuse for getting lifts from the OH everywhere.

Pretended to be much more tired / sick than I am to get out of social events.

- I haven't cooked a single meal since I found out I was pregnant! That's DH's job now.

- Nor have I taken out the rubbish or done any housework. The cleaner comes more often now.

- use exhaustion and ms as an excuse to get out of social engagements I have no interest in going to.

- use the same excuse for not returning phone calls to people I can't be bothered to chat with.

- 'forgot' to take my pre natal vitamins five days in a row because they make me hurl!
