I found this website that calculates how many calories you would need in each trimester. I thought I would share it with you lovely ladies just in case you are anything like me kinda obsessing about the weight gain during pregnancy.
I am so worried about the weight gain but seems there not much I can do about it. I've been eating healthy and doing good but ate out twice last week and happened to gain 4 lbs in this week alone! , surely I couldn't have ate enough to put on 4 lbs in one week but oh well what can one do!
Some of the weight you're seeing could easily be water retention and all sorts of other things. I know it's easier said than done, but try to track trends over time rather than worry about each weigh in. Also my OB told me many women gain in spurts. Your body will hold onto what it wants to, to some extent.
But it is good to try and stay healthy! Bravo to you on that.
I'm a healthy eating nut but since the second trimester, I've been naughty with chocolate and biscuits occasionally but didn't seem to gain weight the way I normally do - thanks to the calorie counter you posted, I now realize I can do taht guilt free since I already need 200 more calories, LoL
I've heard about people gaining in spurts too like someone said above - I hope mine stays steady! I dread taking it all off!
interesting! Ive been watching my weight quite religiously as I gained far to much in my last pregnancy and so far with just eating healthly and swimming adn yoga I've gained minimal weight so i'm pleased. That calculator said I can eat a lot more calories than I actually am!
