Hasn't sunk in yet...

DH and I are super-excited about LO, it's our first and we'd been waiting over 3 years but at 15+5 I just don't ~feel~ pregnant. I've been sick as a dog for the last 3.5 months, but the first 3 months were like having a horrible attack of IBS/stomach flu and the last week or so I've had a horrible headcold/sinus congestion/flu-type thing.

My sister is 5 weeks ahead of me and has had her bump for what seems like forever (well, for at least the last 7 weeks), however mine has yet to make an appearance.

All I know is I'm steering clear of certain food and medications, and in about 6 months hopefully I'll have a baby. I know it'll catch up and the bump will come and then in 3rd tri I'll be super excited but for right now - I just really don't feel anything.

i used to cry about how i just wanted to feel normal again and felt so guilty about not blooming and being excited about the baby - trust me it disappears as quickly as it arrived and one day you will wake up feeling better and ready to take on your 2nd trimester that will be filled with planning and organising and everyone cooing over your bump!!

it will come!! i promise!!
