Can baby lay on a nerve?

Holy crap! I am having a constant sharp pain on my left side that goes down my leg! Can she be sitting on a nerve? If I lay on my left side it goes away but as soon as I move it hurts again. Its not round ligament pain so the nerve thing is my only explanation

Yes, I have the same thing but on my right leg! it's horrible isn't it? It's the baby lying on your scyiatic nerve if thats how you spell it. It comes and goes with me though so luckily i'm not in constant pain. Does it also feel like your leg is gonna give way sometimes when you stand up? be careful coz i've nearly fallen over a few times coz of this, just a heads up :-) xxx

can you prod her so that she moves (like they do on ultrasound day) or is it more likely your placenta causing the pain by where its lying?

Just be cautious especially if you stand up quickly or when you are on the stairs coz it's scary when you nearly fall over lol, hopefully the baba will move soon xx

My sister had that on her second pregnancy, her leg would go from under her completely. She had to see a physio and wear a support belt.
