New Beatrix Potter Nursery range - so different and expensive!?

Hi All,

I LOVE Beatrix Potter and have various things from my childhood that I would like to incorporate in my babys nursery. I have been searching for ages now for a bedding and curtain set and the only one I can fine is the latest modern Peter Rabbit design which is cream and green (unisex). I quite like the colours but I think the design is quite bland compared to the lovely Beatrix Potter scenes I remember as a child.
I would like cream (as we are not finding out what were having) but with the original Peter Rabbit etc on. Has anyone seen anything remotely like that anywhere? - also, it comes to £200 for the cot set and curtains which seems expensive to me!

My other alternative is to go plain white/cream and just add Beatrix Potter wall stickers/stencils.

Ideas??

This sounds like a lovely idea, I've not seen anything around with it on though. I am now googleing though as very intrigued. I will let you know if I find anything
My nickname as a kid was Jemima puddle duck and I keep looking for a cuddle toy of her for the LO.
Personal I'm going to be using wall stcikers in our nursery which might work out cheaper for you.

I'm lucky to be one of those people talented with a pencil and paint brush. How about buying a plain cot and a nice wardrobe/bedroom set and have a go at painting your own Beatrix pictures on them? If not how about some nice transfers to stick on the cot and match the units up. That way you can get some nice pastel bedding to go with what you'll have.

Get the cheap stuff and put the stickers on it. Nursery furniture is an absolute rip off.
