Honest answers ladies, should I go to the Dr's?

Can he help me?

I've had an extremely blocked nose and bad cough for about 10 days now and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere!

I'd assumed it wasn't down to any infection as I feel well in myself. I am really worried as every time I cough it feels as though it is pulling on my cerclage. I have 2 in place. So, I really want to get this sorted. Have tried all the natural remedies!

Is it possible to have an infection, need antibiotics, without a temperature etc.?

Xx

Yes, when I get bronchitis I rarely have much of a temperature. If you have yellow/ green discharge that indicates infection. If it is clear there is probably not much they can do.

I agree! I've had sinus infections and bronchitis without a fever (well like 99.3!) but yeah. You can definitely have an infection and feel okay. Good luck!

If it's been going several days with greenish mucous I would go in. Sounds like a sinus infection. I'm battling a cold myself that started up on Friday. I'm going to see if it goes away before this Friday though before going in. I have very stuffed nose, dry scratchy throat (due to nasal drip) and a cough also due to the nasal drip. So far no fever here so I've just been drinking lots of hot tea, sucking on hard candy for the dry throat and breathing eucalyptus steams. It's miserable not being able to take any OTC medicine for this!
