Not enjoying pregnancy?

I have suffered from severe headaches throughout. They cause pain in my eyes and neck and make me feel sick, it's awful especially as I can't take anything for them. I also get pains in the very lower part of my stomach, it hurts to press on it and is uncomfortable especially when I'm trying to sleep.

Everyone said I'd feel great during the 2nd trimester, but I'm 18 weeks and it feels horrible. I always imagined that pregnancy would be an amazing time but I'm actually hating it

Does anyone else feel like that?

I hate it. I've had hyperemesis, headaches, backache, dizzy spells, fainting, along with all the worries, and the blood tests!! I can't wait for the pregnancy to be over x

You poor thing, that sounds pretty horrible to me. I really hope that this passes for you.

I have been getting the pain in my lower bump as well and it is horrible I have terrible pelvic pain and it really gets me down to be honest. I can't wait until I'm not pregnant any more!! I absolutely hate it!!! But I still love LO and my DD (who I also had a hard time with) and it really is worth the misery but it is difficult to see that when you are going through it.

You poor thing I am new to the 2nd tri...but I too, had the feeling that by now I would be feeling like a million bucks and I am FAR FROM IT. The horrible all day all night nausea has calmed down some, but I am still gagging from smells combined with the constant post nasal drip i've had for months! I too, suffer from these headaches in my eye, that tylenol only seldomly works for and they make me nauseous and knock me out. I have a terrible taste in my mouth, my hair is falling out, I am so congested I have trouble sleeping....still having a hard time getting down healthy food.....so yes, I agree I thought I'd be loving it much more than I am. I am hoping we both feel better at some point so we can enjoy this. I am so happy and feel so blessed to be having my first baby, as a newlywed...I wish I was able to feel good to savor these moments!

I know it sounds awful but reading those actually makes me feel better! Everyone just assumes that I'm loving being pregnant & I daren't admit that I hate it.

I did hear that the harder you pregnancy, the easier the labour so I'm hoping that we'll be the ones back on here saying "don't know what you're moaning about, labour was a breeze, I pretty much sneezed him/her out!"

It was horrible for me up until about week 20, but now I mainly feel great! I had really bad headaches and dizzy spells too. My mom sent me some essential oils that help. Not exactly sure what it's called in English, but it has mint in it. Maybe you could google some info on essential oils that help with this sort of thing. I was skeptical when she first sent it to me, but it really works!

I love the thought of sneezing out a baby!!!

I'm 15w4d and very slowly starting to feel better. Yesterday was the first day I'd felt half decent in over 2 months, and it was like waking up from a nightmare. And I haven't even had it that bad compared to what you all are describing: just 24/7 nausea, headaches, and tiredness. Mostly just tired now, with the occasional headache. But generally ... it's not been fun.

This is my first pregnancy and its put me off ever getting pregnant again!! I only started to feel ABIT normal about a week or 2 ago. I hope 'the harder the pregnancy, the easier the labour' is true, then she should slide out in 2 seconds
