I have a headache. I was on the phone with a friend and reached up on top of my fridge and grabbed a bottle thinking it was Tylenol. I know I sound so stupid that I didn't notice the color or anything, but I took 2. About half an hour later something made me think of it and I realized I took Advil. I know you're not supposed to but i've also heard some doctors tell women it's ok.
I think you will be fine hun , Right now my ob doc has me on vicodine , and last week I was on oxycodin and I have no idea what else they gave me while I was in the hospital after surgery. Im sure taking advil just once wont hurt your lo .
Wouldn't worry about taking it once. But for next time, maybe put the Advil away where you won't make the same mistake twice.
I love my advil as well, and miss them horribly while pg, cause of my headaches. Tylenol makes my stomach upset... but is the preferred choice of many doctors.
Advil, Aspirin, etc are blood thinners. Repeated use will make your blood thin which will not carry the necessary nutrients to the baby. Some doctors however do prescribe it to certain high risk pregnancies. So don't worry.
