iCandy peach jogger

Apologies if this is in the right thread.

I am in the process of looking at buggies and at the top of my list is the iCandy peach jogger. I want it with the carrycot and car seat

I am aware that retailers can't devalue the product by showing prices online - however, has anyone bought one and if so what were the prices. I've been quoted £900!

Ideally want it cheaper if I can get it cheaper - even though I know the iCandy range are expensive

Any help or advice appreciated

Andrea x

A friend of mine got hers (an icandy peach) on ebay secondhand and I think she ended up paying around 350. They are expensive but I think you can use a maxi cosi carrycot / car seat rather than their own brand. Also you won't need to buy all the bits straight away so perhaps see if you can afford to do it that way. I can't remember what the price of the one in John Lewis I liked, but I think the basic model was far cheaper (around £400) than the limited addition covers(£800 ish). Having just had a quick peek on ebay, there is a Apple Jogger for sale: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ICandy-App...item35b82ca5bc Seller reckons she paid 450 for it new, which fits with the prices I've seen.

Hi
I've just ordered the I-candy Peach from John Lewis the chassis was £595 and the carry cot was £195 then the car seat (maxi cosi) was £100 and the iosfix £125. It seems like loads of money but apparently it's the best on the Market!!! Lots of my friends have had I-candy (pear and apple) and they swear by it
Hey if it's good enough of Posh Spice it must be good lol!!!
Hope the above helps
Ashley xx

My SIL has one and it has lasted so well. Her second baby is now enjoying it. I definitely think it is worth the money! I know people who have got the iCandy for the second baby as their first pram system hasn't lived up to their expectations.

Hi! I went to look at the icandy peach jogger last saturday and had my heart set on it but when I had a 'go' (ha ha) I (personally) found it really quite tricky to push though and it put me off it. Whilst I was at the shop I totally fell in love with the icandy peacher stroller (4 wheeler) and went for it in tomato!! I had seen it online but had totally wrote it off -I was determined I was having the arctic grey 3 wheeler as I'd been looking at it online since last August!!! But totally changed my mind. Funny huh.
The price I was quoted for the artic 3 wheeler jogger was 195 carrycot and 595 for the chassis. Last saturday they checked the icandy webiste stock whilst I was there and there were only 118 carrycots available to sell in the UK, after they have gone the next batch won't be in until end the of March, so worth considering this.

You can deffo use Maxi cosi car seats with it as I rang Icandy myself to check, so you may be able to get a car seat in the january slaes which may help bring cost down a little.
I think if you ring round and compare prices, some shops may be able to match a price and throw in something extra or accessories etc. Worth a try? good luck

With the car seat and the carrycot, plus colour packs (you do need to get these) that price sounds about right I think. If you look on the iCandy website, towards the bottom of the home page is a price list you can download.

The black isn't extra, only the red or blue. Personally I prefer the black anyway. We went out today without much of a clue what we were after, ended up liking the Peach or the Babystyle Oyster - coming home and reading reviews there is just no question anymore as the Oyster seems to have serious structural issues and terrible customer service!

Interesting to see you preferred the 4 wheel to 3 - I've only had a play with the 4 wheel and loved it, found it very easy to manoeuvre, but I was wondering if I should hunt down a 3 to try too. We were quoted £1008 today for a peach with colour pack, carrycot, frame, buggy seat, maxi cosi pebble, family fix isofix base, and maxi cosi adaptors. The pebble is the best rated seat for baby comfort as it is a near lie flat position so they can breathe easier, worth looking into instead of the icandy one maybe?

I was torn between the peach in blackjack and the new grey jogger, both are very smart but in the end I chose the blackjack as it was just that bit easier to push, I think the jogger has a more 'stunted' push due to the larger third wheel! I got my chassis, carrycot, pram seat, rain cover and bumper bar for £710 from a local store, it was £790 but they had 10% off in the new year sale! I love the I candy and am happy with my deal, I got the maxi cosi pebble separately from kiddicare!
