i had this all planned out with my first,went out and got maternity nightnies from mothercare (bloody fortune!) and slippers etc. ended up naked in the birthing pool  refusing to put any clothes on because it "hurt to much"  and then ended up in one of oh's t shirts. |

I've never seen anyone in a hospital gown here unless they are going for a section  i wore a vest top and just covered my lower (naked) half with a sheet |
