Why is it that I can't stand for longer than 10 minutes????

The only time, I seem to feel okay is when im sitting or laying down,
Im 25 weeks today. Whenever I seem to be standing for longer than 10-15 minutes I start to get really short of breath, dizzy and sore. Anyone else going through this? Or does anyone know how to help my problem?
I work as a cashier so this is becoming quite a problem for me. When Im at home Its not as bad because I take breaks and sit/lay down when I feel like this...

help

I have this I keep fainting with it too, they said I have low blood pressure and that's why and there's nothing I can do but more as slow as I can and take breaks, try not to get too hot I find being too hot makes me worse and keep a drink with you as this helps me too x

I get very tired on my feet too after a short amount of time, it sucks. And I have a job where I am on my feet constantly, never a chance to sit down! Maybe try working a little less? I usually work 5 days, now I'm cutting down to 4 a week. Then for my last month of work I will probably drop down to 3, depending on how I am feeling. But I took last week off and this week, it's so nice to be able to relax and not be sore for once.

thanks ladies. I am a cashier so I am on my feet constantly. I do not work all that much so I can't cut down my hours. I see my OB tomorrow so I'll be asking him for sure. Its gotten so bad the last few days, and last day I worked I had to leave early because I wasn't able to work...

I'm a cashier as well. I have pelvic girdle pain when I'm on my feet for more than 20 minutes so my managers have given me a stool to sit down on between ringing out guests. Can you do something like that? That way you don't lose the hours at work (I've lost 20 hrs a week due to having to work short shifts) but can have the rest you need.

I'm the same, I was like this before pregnancy but not as bad, its something to do with my blood pressure being quite low.
Drink plenty of water and make sure you eat, its always worse when I'm thirsty or hungry.

I second this.

The other day I went to work only having eaten breakfast several hours before my shift. I noticed I was shaky and feeling a bit out of it but had some sugar/chocolate and something to drink and felt a bit better.

I get this too, and I'm only 16 weeks. I don't work - as I'm a stay at home now, but even if I wait in the groery line for 20 min I have to be careful as I almost faint! not good! I hate that feeling, esp in public!

I make sure I always have food in my system, but the last few days have been really bad. not fun at all. in between customers I sit down but even still I've had to leave my til due to being dizzy/pains.
I wish I had a perfect answer, I hate feeling like this. |Plus when Im not working I am at home taking care of my toddler, and trying to keep the house tidy, but being home is the easy part because I can take breaks and lay down.
Im so curious to see what my OB has to say...

I currently only work 4.5-5hrs at a time (with a break after 2 hours) only 3 days a week but still feel faint/have pain after working for a short time, I do sit in between customers but when its busy I can't. boo
