sounds like you've got a good plan that's so sweet about OBEM.

If he can see that alcohol changes him and he upsets you, why does he continue? He needs to cut it out completely imo. He can't be looking after a baby if he's drinking!

Glad things are turning around hun. I would make sure he knows you are serious about the drinking though as it only takes once for him to f*ck it all up again. Im really pleased for you and think he sounds like he is making a real effort. x

I wouldn't want my little one learning that its okay to treat people that way. You sound as though you have a supportive family and that must be a better environment to have children in.

Hopefully he can sort it out, but I'd be very cautious to not fall back into anything until I was sure. You need to be strong so he gets the message - just be strong for the LO

Thanks everyone.

I decided to leave him the letter this morning, I explained it was written whilst I was upset and before I knew about the job but there is a lot of stuff in there that he probably isn't even aware of because it happens when he is drunk! Not sure if he has read it yet though.

I keep pestering him to call the company back, although the boss isn't in on a Wednesday, I have told him to at least call to get the ball rolling and get the word around, he better not let me down with this one! lol

I have made him a drink chart to log down exactly what he is spending each week, I think, so long as he is honest, it will give him a big shock. I know when I was drinking, it would rack up into the £100's over the month, and I am not even as bad as him!
