incompetent cervix signs??

My midwife scared the crap out of me today when i told her that out little miss allways kicks my cervix, she responded with.... "are u sure they are kicks, because it could be an incompetent cervix!". Im now freaking out thinking every time she kicks down there that its actually my cervix weakning!
Does anyone know what symptoms an incompetent cervix creates?

There are no real symptoms to an incompetent cervix really, other than maybe a feeling jf pressure in your vagina. It's only really properly diagnosed through cervicsl length scans. But it's rare and very likely you have it based on just what your midwife said!

I do have a dodgy cervix, but even so my little one still kicks the hell out of my cervix! Very uncomfortable ( in fact she's doing it right now!)

I had the same with my last pregnancy too so I'd say what you're feeling is totally normal! If your really worried mention it to your doctor or at your next scan but I think what you're feeling is totally normal!

That wasn't very helpful of your midwife was it??!
I think you should give her a call and ask for a few more details and info about it.

Seriously! If SHE suspects something, then she should do whatever she needs to to address it. (tests, I mean.) Otherwise, if she doesn't really suspect something--why mention it? She should have to deal with the worry she created. Call her, and ask loads of questions. You will get reassured, and maybe a little payback

That seems like a weird thing for someone in the healthcare profession to do!

I know! I thought it was a wierd thing to say too but i figured she might have had someone who recentlt came in with it and it was fresh in her mind or that she was just being thorough! But i can tell they are kicks and pokes and ive had 2 scans that showed my cervix is a good length and fully closed.
I think i might call them and just explain that im now concerned :/

According the American Pregnancy Association your discharge should be white, just not foul odored. You should be fine and she is clueless.

That MW sound a right idiot to me, why the hell would she say something like that, which was obviously going to cause worry. Very irresponsible.
