Uk bargains - dunelm mill!

Hi all,

I've just been to dunelm mill to get my daughter some new curtains and came back with some beautiful stuff for this pink baby's nursery!

I got some of the vintage Rose range, blackout curtains, cot bumper and huge fleece blanket for 37! It was all half price!

Xx

even if you don't live near one you can buy the stuff online. I am nowhere near one either but they do have some nice stuff on their website.

Ive had loads of stuff from them and its lovely quality at a reasonable price. I was so excited when one opened up near us as I wont have to buy mail order anymore.

i've had a look but they say you shouldnt use cot bumpers or quilts with little ones. Anyone know any more about this? seems odd that so many places sell them if that is the case?

Pretty much everywhere still sells them because there isn't a law against it and so far, there is no safety standard banning them. however, the general official advice is not to use them. They can cause a suffocation risk for younger babies, the ties can cause a choking hazard and older babies can use the bumper as an escape aid to get out of the cot unsafely.
