I am doing a hypno birthing course and plan on a hospital water birth with my midwife and possibly a hypnobirthing doula as well. I hope to achieve what you achieved. Thanks for sharing!

I bought the effective birthing cd as well. I'm not entirely convinced about the hypnosis part of it, but visualization and relaxation techniques are well proven and used by athletes and for people facing phobias e.g. needles. I've only listened once through so far, but I like it and will continue. The more relaxed I can be at the birth, the better experience it will be, however it progresses.
