So I'm not sure if this is normal or not, but every once in a while my heart feels like it isn't beating right, like beating faster, kind of like a flutter for just a few seconds and it passes. It happened to me like once in a blue moon, like years in between, before I was pregnant, but since I found out I was pregnant it happens ALL the time. And some times it will happen and then a few minutes later again. Kind of worries me. I'm going to the doc next Friday, and I was gonna bring it up. But I am a super healthy person normally and all my tests have come back good, no low iron or anything like that. Anyone else?
I have had this too. I have had it during pregnancy and before as well. I haven't asked my doctor about it, but had done a bit of research online years ago, and it had said that some people just get heart flutters from time to time and it's not dangerous.
I would definietly recommend speaking to your doctor about, just to be sure. (I will try to take my own advice and speak with mine at the next appointment too).
I have this too! Getting a 24 hour ecg on monday just to be sure but Doc reckons it's all the extra blood in pregnancy combined with stress. Go see your doc just to put your mind at rest. I had to as it was scaring the life out of me!! Such a horrible feeling!
I've been told this is normal. I normally have heart palpitations, but they've been a lot more noticeable and more frequent during pregnancy. I always have my fingers on my pulse seeing if I'm ok! My midwife said to expect it, and not to worry...
