Same as a pp, I had to be put on meds to help with my sickness (finally got diagnosed with hyperemesis) but you could try a couple of dry crackers or digestive biscuits before getting out of bed, anything with ginger in, sucking on a boiled sweet, making sure you have something be it just a couple of biscuits every couple of hours, funnily enough sometime s a milkshake helped me (frijj!)

Eating little and often definately helps when the sickness is controlable. Also try eating things with slow releasing energy such as dried fruit, nuts, toasted teacakes. There were a couple of months for me where I was literally back and forth from the drs being signed off work sick and being checked regularly because I got so ill I couldnt keep anything down not even fluids. (not to the point that I had to be in hospital and because it was early on they wouldnt prescribe me medication). When you start to feel sick massage your inner wrist. I found sea bands uncomfortable but the massage worked for mild nausea (probably because you focus on something other than feeling sick). If you get like me and you seem to have lows where its as though your body has run out of stores get a really really sweet cup of tea!! I couldnt believe how much this helped. Id feel like I was about to pass out so drank the tea and felt instantly better (not well but better) I really hope it doesnt hit you hard, I wouldnt wish it on anyone
xx

What was it that got you in hospital? When I was between 6-7 weeks I was so ill I nearly passed out in the drs room and was shaking like a leaf. I couldnt keep anything down not even fluids but he just sent me home and said to try ginger! I honestly thought I should have been on fluids! I lost a lot of weight too everyone was commenting how skinny and ill I was looking! Supervisors at work kept getting me to go sit down coz I looked like I was gona pass out on them lol.

Maybe my drs are just SH1T!!

x
