Breakfast: Plain yogurt mixed with peanut butter, and a slice of whole wheat toast with butter.

Snack: OJ with iron suppliment

Lunch: cucumber slices, apple, trail mix (almonds, cashews, chocolate chips, dried pineapple, dried cranberry) some graham crackers, and mini rice cakes.

Dinner: BBQ chicken, with grilled squash, zucchini and bell peppers (and bella mushrooms) plus whole wheat flat bread.

I'm trying to be healthy. It sucks. lol. I have my glucose test a week from Monday so I'm trying to cut back on all my sugar in take. I pray I'm okay.

I am going through odd food cravings right now. I decided to have those canned white potatoes (I think they are called whole potatoes) fried and then added some turkey gravy from a jar. Strange combo, good thing dh didn't see it he thinks I eat gross stuff...lol.

im TRYING to be healthy!! its so hard, i can gain weight by looking at something BOO!
I hear you on the being healthy thing. Especially when yummy things are all around me. I don't have real cravings persay but when I go to make food I put way more on my plate than I can actually eat. Even when I'm full I sometimes want to eat more
i do that too, whats bad is even though i know how uncomfortable and misreable i will be if i keep eating, sometimes i still do! the past few days ive been doin alot better with things. hope i can keep it up
I wish I had your control. I tell hubby almost every night, babe I don't understand why I just want to eat even when I'm full and it makes me feel awful. WTF is wrong with me. Its been over 6 months now, you would think I would have learned that I cannot eat the amounts of food I ate before becoming pregnant. Its like a evil cycle. Every day I think I'm gonna do good, and then dinner comes and I eat enough for three and feel awful.
it IS a vicious cycle!! how are you doin on your weight gain? you look small in your picture! ..my weight has been ..well, bad, i think lol. one reason im tryin to be healthy bc i feel like im packin on stuff that isnt actually weight just bloat and waste.. so im tryin to clean my system! for me and baby!
Oh well thank you. I feel I've gained too much already. Doc says I'm about 14-15 pounds since becoming pregnant. For me it feels like its all in my belly. My bum, boob, legs, nothings really changed. I feel huge. I'm trying to be healthy for me and baby but damn its hard. I def have a sweet tooth. We are in the middle of taking all the sweets out of the house so I won't eat them all. I exercise daily. Usually walking my dog for half hour to an hour and weight training two days and pilates one day. But exercising seriously wipes me out now. I get so tired when I'm done and feel like I need to lay down and eat. :/ how much have you gained if you don't mind me asking.
LOL i do better when i dont have alot of unhealthy stuff in our house either. cuz if i see it, it temps me, and last week i ended up buying a FAMILY size bag of cheetos.. theres only 2 of us lol. im up about 15lbs since becomming pregnant, which has kind of spread out everywhere but i feel it in my legs and butt alot, and belly of course. im thinkin since its been soo damn long since ive been on the eliptical it made my butt and legs get bigger. i do get walking in about 30-50 mins everyday, have the best of intentions to get the gym everyday after work but hasnt happened yet..haha. its a battle everyday with my weight though. (i have mad flunctuations also!?) and i have the gestational diabetes test the end of this month ..oh joy
Oh yeah I have my testing at the end of the this month too. My friend told me just dont have ANY sugar and light carbs the week before the test and you should be fine. I'm super worried about it, since I started as overweight to start with. :/
me too, thats why i am worried. im tryin not to stress myself about it. but im def been trying to eat healthier, and will this entire week..thru the weekend (minus a cupcake i will eat on saturday.. i know i will, its my bfs nieces' first bday SO ..it WILL happen lol) thru the next week and my test is on the 25th in the AM .. ahhh. i went to the gym this weekend too! only for about 25 minutes, but i did the elliptical for 15 so that was good, compared to what i used to do it was pathetic but i didnt expect to be able to do to much.. going to try to do that atleast 4x this week! plus walking everyday what i normally do.. GOOD LUCK TO YOU! we can pass this! unless our hormones say otherwise.. lol :/

OMG last night I kinda surprised myself with what I wanted, and actually enjoyed. For dinner we had Tuna Salad (macaroni, tuna and mayonnaise). Well I like to put a little garlic powder on it and sometimes I'll put ketchup on it too. Well last night I put my garlic on, but I didn't want ketchup. I had a different taste in mind.

So I got creative and tried a little honey garlic sauce and it was actually really good, haha.

Its fine to eat it hun but you shouldnt eat it more than once per week really, i would love to tell you why but i have forgotton, think its something to do with mercury. But if you just have it once per week, the fish oils are good for you.

I had a tuna craving to begin with too, it was tuna mayo salad sandwiches with, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, onions and a little sliced boiled egg! Also tuna may & sweetcorn on jacket potatoes! yum! x
