Cesarean or vaginal birth

Hi all, im wondering if anyone else can shed any light on this.
I had my first baby by emergency cesarean after failure to progress and complications . I have now been to the midwife who has said i will be given the option by consultant of trying for a vaginal birth or an elective cesarean. As ive not yet seen consultant i havent had this confirmed, has anyone else been in a similar situation????

I had an emcs first time round and tried for a vbac with my second baby. Unfortunately I ended up with another emcs for fetal distress. I am now expecting my third and will be trying another vbac. It's totally your decision as to what you want to do. My consultant will expect me to have another c-section but that's not an option for me so I will be declining.

Good luck in your decision.

I had a c sec with my first not emergency but it turns out my hips are so tiny and do not widen like abnormal woman's hips should during pregnancy so my little six lb baby was so stuck in my hips that they had to vacuum her out. My second was a emcs due to her heart rate dropping. This will be a scheduled c sec because it is physically impossible for me to have a vaginal birth.

I personally would opt for a c sec, only because its what I like. I am scared of vaginal birth and a c section is my ideal birth.

If you want to try vbac do it, more power to you. It's your body, your birth, your baby you do whst makes you happy.
