Turkey or Tunisia

I'm thinking of going to turkey or Tunisia in late march. Has anyone been while pregnant? I'm worried of getting sick while there. I got a bad stomach in morocco and scared of the same thing happening. I'll be 21 weeks. I just really want to relax around a pool before baby gets here.

Can anyone recommend them? I've heard Tunisia isn't safe but sure if we do all inclusive the resort will be fine.

Xx

Not sure if I would risk going to either of those hun even if your all inclusive.

We went to Egypt a few years back and we all ended up with medication from the pharmist due to upset tummies and we were all inclusive.

Never been to either but my friend has been to Tunisia and she ended up with a dicky tummy too. Not really sure about Turkey but neither scream safe to me.

Could you not consider going someone else?

Or you could just opt to be really careful for example just bottled water etc but I am sure you could end up high risk from food posioning too.

I've been to Tunisia three times. The last time was last September. IMO its completely safe. Me and my partner stayed at the hotel mostly but ventured to the medina two or three times, once at night, and felt completely safe.
If all you're after is a nice relaxing break I recommend port el kantoui. The hotels are fabulous. In particular The Imperial Mahaba.
I didn't get a dodgy tummy none of the times I went.

I've never been to turkey but I've heard that its a beautiful country and quite similar to Tunisia x

Turkey is incredibly clean. The reports you've heard are from what it used to be like ten years ago. I went in August last year and it was lovely. AND, if you go to turkey while pregnant...they'll love you to bits!!!

Can't afford to go self catering . I'll have to have a think about it. I'm off to Vienna tomorrow so will see how easy it is to eat carefully . My parents also getting a villa somewhere like Portugal in May. My mum always cooks the meals while there herself, so may just go with them

Do not go to tunisia! Unless of course you want food poisoning, dont do it!!! Both my husband and I both were ill with sickness and chronic diarrhea for 3 days, we went self catering and ate out in nice restaurants it was awful. My stomach felt like it was gonna cut in half, it ached so so bad, the worst ever! We were on the coach going back to the airport and lots of people who were all inclusive got food poisoning too.

A couple of weeks later on watchdog there was a thing on tunisia about food poisoning and people becoming ill. So we realised then that it must be really common. Its so warm out there and their quality of technology isnt great ... Im sure you get where I am coming from if you have been to Morocco.

Not been too Turkey so couldnt say, maybe live of pizza and chips, frozen type Iceland food if you do go. And I guess dont eat meats, salads etc or stuff you think bacteria could easily grow on.

xxx

Also.... I would probably stay away from the pools. They dont get cleaned out often enough. Fine if your not pregnant but because you are I wouldnt chance those either
