I know I'm still in first trimester, but sooooooo close to joining you 2nd tri ladies...
Anyway, I am sure for the last few days I have felt the first flutters of movement from my baby, so was wondering if any of you thought you felt movement early on for them to get stronger therefore confirming it??
This is my 3rd baby, and the movements are so distinct, I feel it at night when I'm in bed or when I'm having a quiet rest during the day
Hiya it is quite possible to feel movement earlier as its not your first. i think at first its hard to tell because it happens so quick and fast that you can often mistake it for wind or your immagination. thats what i did this time. i'm sure i could feel flutters from 10+weeks but i thought no it's too early it will just be wind, however it kept happening and lasted longer. by 14weeks there was no mistaking it, and 16weeks i started feeling kicks and actual movement.
I started feeling flutters at 12weeks with my 2nd x
With my daughter I was getting kicks from 16 weeks (it actually freaked me out cos it was so sudden, I was watching tv and hoof she kicked me lol)
With my son it was around 12 weeks,
And my midwife said what I'm describing definatly sounds like baby moving, but I am happy to hear I'm not the only one who has had early movement x
It could well be...i thought at 10weeks it was too early but i relise now it was prob flutters and it got stronger and more often and 14weeks no mistaking it.
you will know if it happens often (and you dont fart a lot) lol x
