any1 else feel left out only havin few mw appointments?

havent had any sickness, was really bad with my first 2, feel completly fine and dont feel pregnant yet im nearly 17 week, and feel like im missing out not having more mw appointments as had booking then 16week on then not seen again till 28 week then every 3 week after that all because u have had one already haha. every pregnancy if different so assume they think we will know when something aint right i suppose, so when i had 16 week appointment i asked her 2 c if she could find heatbeat, took her a good 5 mins but found it as such a long time to wait to hear it.

I have only had 3 appointments so far- 8, 14 and 23 weeks. Dont have another appointment til almost 29 weeks. Its my first baby. I guess its good as they must feel everything is going smoothly or i'm sure theyd have us in more regularly x

Ive had 10 weeks, 16 weeks and 22 weeks and seeing her again at 28 weeks. Apart from hearing bubbas heartbeat I find them a bit of a chore so Im quite happy not to have more!! Id take more scans though if I could!! x

I think its to few as well. Had 10 weeks booking on then 17 weeks hear the heartbeat (would have been 16 but xmas holidays made it tricky) Now i don't' see her till 28 weeks. There is only one at our surgery and she is only really there on a thursday. I am tempted to ring the community midwife team this week and go to the drop in clinic for a checkout. I have a lot of fluid retention in my legs and its slightly concerning me. With my first i had pre-eclampsia which can be a sign. Its my 3rd baby but its the first with my husband so apparently your chances of getting it are the same a first time mum again!!!!!!

Do you not have a drop in clinic you can go to???

I had a MW apointment last week & now i wont have one untill May when i'm 25 weeks & i'm only having that appointment because she needs to see me before she sends me for the Anti D injection other wise it would be 28 weeks when i next see her.

We have a drop in clinic ever week at our childrens centre. You can ask questions, listen to the babies HB on doppler etc.

I had my book in appointment at 9 weeks. Had one at 13 weeks because she told me to book one after my scan but didnt specify 20 week scan lol so was a wasted appointment. Had a consultant appointment at 17 weeks. Had a midwife appointment after my 20 week scan and she has booked me another for 4 weeks time. From then ill be seen every 4 weeks. Although my next consultant appointment is 36 weeks. I suppose its a good thing if they dont want to see you all the time means you and baby are healthy!
x

I have midwife apps every week due to the high risk nature of my pregnancy (PE) Im the opposite I wish I didnt have to go as often and had a normal healthy pregnancy lol i have scans every two weeks and I get terrified and v nervous before each one x

I had my booking in at 8, scan at 12, then a midwife appt last week at 16 weeks, scan at 20 then an appt with my GP at 24 weeks. They said its roughly monthly to me unless there's any problems
