Anyone Else Planning a Gender Reveal Party? - Page 2

Ya we did it. We play darts at a bar so we held it there. We needed the space. We planned it for the day after we found out bc i didnt want to hold it in long. Im not good at secrets. lol. Mosty cake places only want 24 hours notice so it was perfect. we had around 30-40 come. the bar served food and after we revealed it they were nice enough to supply pink shots for everybody cause it was a girl. I believe it was tequila rose. it was an amzing night and even though i knew the sex I cried my eyes out when everybody screamed girl with such excitement. it was an amzing night. Oh and I also let the two grandmas cut into the cake

That video made me cry and I watched it without sound cause I'm on my phone and dh is asleep next to me. My hormones are crazy today! I'll watch it with sound tomorrow lol.

My daughters begged me to tell them in the car on the way home from school but I wouldn't. I said ask stepdaddy so they went into his office but he wouldn't tell either. They both trudged off to their bedrooms defeated, only to find pink balloons and came running back out with the balloons shouting it's a girl!!! It was fun to build the suspense and watch their reactions

I LOVE that idea and you gave me a great idea of planning the party the next day!

Why didn't I think of that? haha.. I even called a bakery who said they can for sure do it. Woohoo! So excited. I will finally know the gender on March 25th! Thanks for the great idea and I actually like Tequila Rose.

That was all on a Tuesday, and I had to wait until Saturday for my party. We had already sent out invitations 3 weeks earlier, so the pressure was on the technician to be able to find out the sex for me. lol!

Anyway, here is our reaction for when we cut into the cake. It was awesome!!! I highly recommend it.

OMG this seriously makes me cry... my friend is planning to do this for me and my hubby, if i will have the courage and patience to wait till June.
