I dont have much of a bump, but I kinda lean forward when in my work chair and my belly is touching the desk and it can get uncomfortable. I get a numb bum and feet if I sit for too long, and my hips hurt
i have noticed that my bump has started become uncomfortable whilst at work. today i was kneeling on the floor plugging cables in to the back of the computer and it really ached my bump. i'm not huge yet either so i can't imagine what i will be like in a few weeks. xx
Are you crossing your legs at work?
I find I can no longer cross my legs. I have to sit like a man does, wide stretched like I have a different package between my legs. hahaha
On the couch, I find that putting one leg up on the couch is the only way to get comfortable now. I suggest you might want to build something under your desk so that you can raise up your legs to the height of your hips. Might take the pressure off.
Yeh I find sitting in my rubbishy office chair a nightmare ... i also have to sit with a cushion behind me for support... my bump is also low but i think baby has moved up in last few days causing this constant ache and uncomfortble feeling ... i am better when i am upright and walking about ..cause then i am not slouching over either ....nightmare
I am so uncomfortable at work. I work in an office so sit down all day mostly in the cheapest nastiest horrid standard office chair EVER! Lol I am going to raise hell tomorrow in my second risk assessment!!!xxx
Uncomfortable at work and on my 6 weeks maternity notice
Hello everyone , I, just over 6 months and I'm taking my maternity leave in a month but I work at a restaurant and I'm always on my feet. I can't just go and sit down whenever I want and I'm stressing out about it when I know I shouldn't be. It's making me sick to my stomach that I'm not getting the support I thought I would get.. Is anyone going through or have gone through that cause I dont know what to do. I feel useless at work and just stressed to the max ...
im miserable at my desk all day! Its uncomfortable to sit and makes it harder to breath as LO is right around were my ribs are now. I plan to start bringing a pillow to sit on too cause with first LO the pain in my backbone got unbearable
