Anyone else feeling uncomfortable sitting down or at work?

My bump is still quite low and is getting quite big now (hooray!), which makes sitting upright quite uncomfortable (boooo!)

At home I perch on the edge of the settee or recline back, which is fine. However, at work I sit at a desk and this has started to feel quite awkward as my bump is already resting on my thighs.

I've bought a maternity support belt from eBay and am waiting for this to arrive, but other than that, is there anything else I can do? I'm due a risk assessment soon...

Thanks girls xx

I dont have much of a bump, but I kinda lean forward when in my work chair and my belly is touching the desk and it can get uncomfortable. I get a numb bum and feet if I sit for too long, and my hips hurt

I get a numb bum too!! I also have bad back pain and my bump rests on the edge of the desk which hurts.

Unfortunately I am on the phones all the time so do not leave my desk a lot. Been given co-codamol from doctors to take when my back is really bad but i rarely take one a day!

Jess x x

Are you crossing your legs at work?
I find I can no longer cross my legs. I have to sit like a man does, wide stretched like I have a different package between my legs. hahaha

On the couch, I find that putting one leg up on the couch is the only way to get comfortable now. I suggest you might want to build something under your desk so that you can raise up your legs to the height of your hips. Might take the pressure off.

Good luck.

When I'm trying to go to the washroom lol I find I can't sit with my legs together, I must sit with my legs spread, which is disgusting to me, but it's the best way my bump feels comfortable!

Find I need to get up when I'm seated for long periods of time to stretch also (like when I'm on the computer for a long time, in the car for a long time).

Uncomfortable at work and on my 6 weeks maternity notice

Hello everyone , I, just over 6 months and I'm taking my maternity leave in a month but I work at a restaurant and I'm always on my feet. I can't just go and sit down whenever I want and I'm stressing out about it when I know I shouldn't be. It's making me sick to my stomach that I'm not getting the support I thought I would get.. Is anyone going through or have gone through that cause I dont know what to do. I feel useless at work and just stressed to the max ...
