I've not posted anything on Facebook and I don't plan too. I worry for the future when our kids are going for job interviews and mr google will find family pics on Internet of every detail of their lives. As nothing can ever truly be deleted from internet. I'm all for sharing good news but be careful what you tag

I announced we were pregnant after our dating scan, but any other details we are not putting on there, like that he's a boy, nor am I posting any pics. OH has put nothing at all on there regarding it.

Anyone on facebook that I want to see pics or share news with I just ask for their email and do it that way!

It's lovely following the often detailed progress of acquaintances and colleagues partners etc pregnancies on facebook, it's just not for me, with a lot being to do with my OH being a very private person who only has minimal presence on FB to receive industry updates.

I posted my 12 week scan pic yesterday along with an announcement and OH did the same.

We'll probably post 20 week scan pics, but we're not finding out sex.

After that I'm probably now going to post updates, just because I have some friends who I think may by TTC and it may be taking some time, so I don't want to be insensitive to them and their feelings. Plus I want to keep a little something private for close friends and family only.

x

We told people irl at 13 weeks, then on Facebook announced by posting our 20 week picture. Since then one of my friends keeps saying I need to post a bump pic because she needs to 'see me pregnant'

Another friend who was due yesterday is constantly posting bump pics which I love but she has a nice skinny frame so my pics would look nowhere near as good as hers. I'm not really sure about it.
