I can definitively relate to not feeling attractive.
First of all I got my hair cut shortly after being pregnant. I was always told hair grows faster with pregnancy.... NOPE Not in my case ! My hair use to grow really fast I'd have to get hair cuts once a month (if not more -- My bangs pretty much every week) My hair hasn't grown at ALL in the past 6 months and I absolutely HATE short hair.
I'm a vair tiny girl, at about 4'11" and never weighed over 90 pounds, I know some may think that I'm just complaining about nothing due to the fact that others are larger than I am and I know I am vair tiny..But i'm also not even five foot ! haha.. and my last weigh in I was 98 pounds. So I feel Larger (even if it is baby, still makes me feel blobby!)
And the main thing I dislike about my appearance now is my boobs ! (sorry if it's TMI..and even more sorry for it if you continue to read ! ) I started with as a B cup, and I am now at DD ! so I have stretch marks under them (that I can't really see..But my DF finds it his duty to point each and every single one out to me...) My nipples grew a lot (clearly) and I just feel GROSS I hate being naked now ):

But I know it's all for my son, so I bare through it...But it doesn't make my attractiveness any better !

*sigh*. Yeah, I'm not glowing.

I'm extremely heavy to begin with, so no one can tell I'm pregnant, I just look fatter with horrible acne and rather sallow skin (I'm anemic right now). I need to get a haircut, at least THAT is within my control.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one feeling this way and im not alone in not loving my ever expanding figure!!
Diva, you're definitely not alone. I try my best to look nice and take good care of myself, but it does wear on my self image. I know its normal to get a huge belly when pregnant, its just weird that MY belly is huge. Anyway, we are going to have the cutest babies and it will be so worth it! I'll keep my fingers crossed that our "glowing" gorgeous skin will arrive soon! Hang in there. *hugs*

Oh, poor thing. It's so hard dealing with so many changes at once! If it makes you feel any better I noticed your hair and thought it was super cute on your sweater post. Also, not to spund creepy, I was impressed by your bust, it looks really womanly and sexy I'd say. Bummer about the stretch marks though. When I've had them from gaining weight on the past they faded really well, so hopefully they wont be noticeable later on.

Rosered, that is rough that you are dealing with weight issues, acne and anemia! Seems like you keep yourself from getting down in the dumps, at least from what I've noticed in your others posts on here. Are you being treated for the anemia? How long does that take to clear up? I say go treat yourself to a haircut as soon as possible. I got one a couple weeks ago and it totally cheered me up! We beleagured pregnant ladies need to capitalize on the things within control that help us feel more ourselves. I thought you were very cute in the "faces" thread. *hugs*

Aw, what a kind post, thank you you so much. I'm blessed with a wonderful husband and an enduring sense of humor, which makes the ride easier. I'm taking iron now, hoping it'll kick in soon. Supposedly it can take a few weeks, but it'll get there. I broke down and bought lovely, chemical-laden shampoo and conditioner today (been using the all-natural stuff since I tested positive), which will bring back a little hair vanity. You're so right, we pregnant ladies gots to get it where we can!

Girls, i think you are being too harsh on yourselves. I think its hormones making us feel this way. With my first even though i was fatter pre pregnancy, put weight on all over and my face looked huge I didn't see it. I was so happy in pregnancy and had the glow u hear about.

This pregnancy despite it being what we wanted, I feel down a lot, I hate my weight (compared to not even noticing it last time). I think if hormones can give u the glow they can also do the opposite, all my cravings are the opposite too and am having boy this time (last one is girl).

It def is, It's good knowing that I'm not the only one that feels this way though (: && That DEF. made me feel much better
Thank youuu for both thinking my hair is cute and for the bust comments
Makes me feel much better about myself (:
I talked to one of my friends about the stretch marks (she has had 3 kids) and showed me some of the stretch marks from her pregnancy, that have faded vair well, she said that mine were identical to hers, so she would suspect that mine would fade as well.. So I'm hoping that they do haha.
So it's def good hearing that they fade from more than one person (:

same here even with an actual pronounced baby bump, its still hard to feel attractive when your hair and skin is not its best and you are swollen and fat on top of the swelling :/ I just feel like a bloated whale and extremely chubby, my hands, feet and face are all fatter than ever lol and I stupidly thought it was only your stomach that got bigger during pregnancy and that everything else just expanded a little

I miss feeling skinny and toned - I always had wider hips and bigger butt but I came to terms with it because I had a small waist and ran lots and felt good, but now I feel huge too - butt went bigger and I"m not running and my co-worker keeps commenting on how my ass is getting bigger and bigger. She comes from a good place - she's not saying to hurt me at all, she's just being honest. Some days I feel nice, but most of the time I just fell unattractive and F.A.T and my hair totally went to hell - grows slowly and soooo dry it looks awful and I always look exhausted with a puffy face

I can't wait till the baby is out so that I can get back in shape to tell the truth
