I am called Alice and I didnt know about the Alice song for so long!! People would randomly say it to me and I would be so confused thinking "why are they all saying that to me"!!!??? In such a yelly voice too!

Then one day I heard the song. Click!

We also have a song called "Alice the Camel" and it is a kids song talking about how many humps Alice had. Great.

"Alice the camel has ten humps, Alice the camel has ten humps, Alice the camel has ten humps so GO Alice GO boom boom boom (people bang their hips against each other on the 'boom' parts).... Alice the camel has nine humps.....etc"

Then when Alice has no humps left everyone yells "COS ALICE IS A HORSE OF COURSE"!

As a kid, you would hear the music start and just think "noooooooooooo"!!!!! LOL

Names are driving me mad! Every name I like, OH either doesn't like it or someone else has "taken" it or OH knows someone who he doesn't like with that name, or my mum does.
Making me crazy!

I loved Amelia but my mum's boss' (also my landlady and old boss) great granddaughter is Amelia.

Poppy, on old friend gave birth a week ago and called her Poppy.

Elsie, this is my OH's (dead) grandmothers name. I don't know anyone that has it. Oh's dad was talking about his parents names and my grandparents names etc and as soon as he said his mum was called Elsie, I fell in love with it! OH loves it too BUT
I'm worried she won't look like an Elsie so we are keeping our options open & won't name her till we see what she looks like.

Oh and I am no longer telling anyone except parents, what names we come up with. Everyone has input and knows someone who knows someone or reminds them of a character in a film. Keeping it quiet!

My new neice (born yesterday at 6.30am 7lbs10oz ) is called Mila. I think its a lovely name.

I quite like Omelia, Katie, Millie and Olivia. Im sure I had more girls names thought out but cant remember them the now! I will really struggle if I have a boy as I find picking boys names sooo hard, me and OH dont agree on any of them! His step sons friends are influencing our choices as I might suggest a name and he will say so and so at school is called that and he is horrible! lol
