We are staying team again, i loved the suprise last time plus that moment just after delivery when my OH said "its a boy" will stay with me forever. It was the most magical moment & i want that again this time with this babys birth.

The midwifes all say that those that dont know the sex also have quicker births, you are more likely to put that bit more effott in to pushing so you find out what baby is.

Dh wants a surprise so I decided not to know too. There's no way I'd be able to keep it from him if I knew. Plus aalll my family are pushing for a surprise so it's just easier.

I wish I had as much Team Yellow enthusiasm as you ladies! We're team yellow but not through choice (hospital doesn't tell you and we'd have to travel to get a private one) I'd give anything to know, but Team Yellow isn't as hard as I thought it would be! Well done those who are tempted but haven't found out! God only knows I couldn't manage that!

Like many that wrote before, DH and I want the surprise. We enjoy the mystery and have fun with it. We just think finding out at the birth, after this long wait and all the hard work, will be the most amazing moment and it will top all others!

I don't know! Both of us agreed we'd keep it a surprise, we don't have a preference to either gender, maybe it makes that 'what did we have?!' more of a thing?! I dunno! Plus the way baby was lying there was no chance of finding out even if we wanted to!

I think there are few enough pleasant surprises in life and knowing what colour clothes to buy or what theme nursery to have wasn't enough to deprive us of that mystery

Both of us want the surprise (although as a PP said, our hospital doesn't tell you anyway) but now we've started to buy things etc we're finding it sooooooo hard!! Does anyone else notice that there are so few neutral things out there? And even some of the things that are supposed to be neutral, my DH always says "But I wouldn't put a girl/boy in THAT!!"

(At this stage I'm at the point of saying - it's going to be a month or so old, it won't notice what it's wearing!!!)
