18 Wks- Braxton Hicks? Pressure in Vaginal.Rectum area (tmi)

Hey everyone,

Just have a question hoping someone can help me with. For the last few days but more specifically today my stomach has been 'spasming/tightening' up to where its uncomfortable to stretch or reach up for high things.

I also have pressure down around my vagina and rectum.. and when i do my pelvic floors its real hard.. like im sqeezing a massive ball or something?
I know this sounds horrible but it feel like my insides are really low like the babys going to just drop out.

Should I be concerned?? Thanks

Hiya hun

Sorry I can't help, this is my first pregnacy so I'm abit clueless... I will say that I have mild pressure down there too but only when I squat to pick something up or sit on the loo. I think it's normal to have a little. Maybe you should see your doctor for a checkup to be sure. Also maybe you are constipated as that cause pains and pressure. Try drinking warm water often and see if it helps with your symptoms.

That could be normal, but I would call your doctor and see if it could be an issue with your cervix (shortening or something) and see what they think....doesn't hurt to call!

BH is normal, I get lots and did with my dd as well and all was fine. As long as they're not too regular or painful. I would get checked for that pressure though. Better to be safe!
