Facial!!! Worried about lying on my back!!

Hi Girls
Any Beauticians/Nurses on??Need Advice
I wanted to ask how dangerous/risky wud it be to lie on my back if i were to have a facial??
I usually have 1 every 4wks but havent had 1 done now in almost 7wks! In that time I found out about the whole lying on our backs and right hand side being bad!!!
But my skin is in drastic need of help!!! These sleepless nights are gettin to me and i feel a pick me up is needed!!

Your fine, it's only 'dangerous' to lie on your back when your like 15+ weeks, I'm nearly 18 weeks and still end up on my backs most nights !! As long as you don't feel no discomfort you'll be fine, your baby is still tiny so there is nothing to worry about

I lie on my back watching telly every night! (I normally wake up on my back too). For an hour to get a facial it wont be a problem. x

Hi

Take several pillows to prop yourself up with. Also, I lay on my right hand side all the time as I sleep better... my baby is doing fine.... it's really just lying flat on your back for long periods of time that can cause problems... I never lye on my back, but sometimes I wake up on my back and think shit I shouldn't be on my back. So now I sleep with lots of pillows under my head so that way if I turn onto my back I am not flat so there shouldn't be a huge risk factor.

you will be fine to lie on your back for a facial as long as you're comfortable and not feeling light headed. im a self employed beauty therapist and with some of my pregnant ladies who get regular facials i prop up their head with pillows or put pillows under their knees to raise their legs whatever suits them and gets them into a comfy position see how you feel but obviously make the therapist aware that you're pregnant in any case. but you should be fine enjoy!

Was worried as i wud prob be lying down for around 1hr 15mins!

When I asked my midwife about this as I often wake up on my back she told me not to worry and said i'd know if it was causing me an issue and needed to move as I'd be in pain. Enjoy your facial

Thats put my mind to rest!!
I hated missing out on them for the past while!! Im so used to gettin 1 every month!!
I kno i cant have my usual! Its Guinot Hydradermie Plus! My Therapist wont allow it on pregnant said it wudnt be advised!!!
So im gonna go for a Baeute Neuve!
Believe me my skin needs a good renewal :-)
