Are you sure?? I have been told by both midwife and GP that cured meats should be avoided!

I've had... peperoni and salami on pizza..

I've eaten sushi like salmon and sea urchin
I had prawn but it's ok it's cooked so it's fine and low in mercury so why not same as salmon and sea urchin.
i had a few soft eggs by accident because i forgot the timing, got me a bit nauseous but i'm alive.

I can't eat meat like steak, pork or chicken so fish and tofu is fine. :P

i had cosslaw a few time in a cheese savoury which I'll never ever have again that stuff is gross! lol

I'm pretty sure that cured meats on pizza are fine, as they are cooked before eating!

1. I have an italian sub about once a week or every other week (always thoroughly heated though)
2. I have had shrimp once or twice
3. I have at least one drink with caffeine in it every day
4. I had raw spicy tuna sushi when I was about 4 weeks pregnant (before I got a BFP)

I have no idea why steak not being well done is an issue. Pink or red inside a steak will nt harm you. Steak is a clean cut of meat, and as long as it is seared on the outside, the inside of the cut of meat has not been touched by bacteria and such. Those issues are with hamburger mostly for beef products, due to the way it is processed in a meat factory that allows it to come into contact with bacteria.
