It's so interesting to see everyones different lists, some things I would never think to take like bibs or pacifiers. I'm having more trouble thinking what to pack for myself, have never found the perfect pajamas for breastfeeding in comfort. My hospital also asks you to bring at least 4 packs of pads, I think that was all provided last time I had a bub. Sheesh I'll have to pack a suitcase afterall just to lug in all the nappies and maternity pads!!
our hospital doesnt provide much including pacifiers, thats why there is so much stuff we have to take
Yeah our hospitals don't provide anything either. Well, the baby can wear hospital clothes but they're not very nice! I was surprised to see pacifiers is all, that's a dummy isn't it? We're recommended to avoid them for at least 6wks so I've never seen them used in hospital. I figure OH will be in each day so he can bring new supplies for me and anyone with a normal SVD can be discharged 6-48 hours after birth so I'm usually outta there asap!

yea pacifiers are dummies, and no your not supposed to let them have them until about 6 weeks but i start them early because i refuse to let my kids suck their thumbs(first of all it's easier to get rid of a pacifier then it is their thumb and my husband's niece is 6 and still sucking her thumb and her parents dont do anything about it)so it drives me crazy
