Question about induction?

I know this might sound random, but if I ask my hospital to induce me ON my due date, would they do it?

Unlikely chick. I think it's normally 10 to 14 days After. Why? You running a sweepstake? ;-) x

Lol aww. On the off chance it does get hot in Glasgow I would be the same. Remember term is 37 weeks so you could go early? It'll still be warm though I spose... My mum went early with me and my bro but that was due to Incompetent cervix so I'm not sure if I'll go overdue
I hope not! xx

I hope i dont either. A friend of mine got induced yesterday at 38 weeks but she's in the US so I wonder if its different...?

I'd love to be induced on my due date or day before so i can have her on time. I really dont want to go over.. xx

i dont wanna go over either. i just think by that time ill be all uncomfy and my boyfriend is off work from 1st july to about 16th August (school terms) so the earlier the baby comes the more time we will all have together.

There's no harm in asking I suppose but I doubt they would. My OH's parents are off on holiday for 2 weeks the day BEFORE my due date (and they knew before they booked so I'm a bit annoyed but hey ho). Unless baby arrives a wee bit early it could potentially be two weeks before they see their grandchild. Part of me hopes I do go over just to spite them lol.
